High Altitude mountain vineyards sites (620meters above sea level) on the slopes ofthe Helderberg Mountain in Stellenbosch.Deep and rich, layered aromas of dark berry fruit, spice and some chocolate notes. Palate is elegant, medium-bodied but well balanced.Concentrated black fruit on entry matched by firm but elegant tannins.
 

Uva Mira Sauvignon Blanc

Highest Sauvignon Blanc vineyards on the slopes of the Helderberg in the Stellenbosh region. Mouth-watering aromas of gooseberry, lime, minerals and passionfruit with herbaceous overtones.  The palate has exceptional richness, with dense layers of exciting pineapple, grapefruit and ripe gooseberry flavours leading to a lively and crisp everlasting finish.

Uva Mira Merlot/Cabernet
Deep and bright rugby-red. Black cherry, dark raspberry and violets on the nose. Very fresh with fine floral, spick, and dense red berry fruit. The finish is a combination of dense red berry fruit finishing with layers of lingering complexity.

Uva Mira Chardonnay
Highest single chardonnay vineyard on the slopes of the Helderberg in the Stellenbosh region.  Aromas of pineapple, white peach and dusty minerals, plus a whiff of hazelnut.  Cool but dense flavors of white peach and citrus with creamy element adding complexity.  A mineral finish with intense flavors that linger forever on the paltate.

	Chardonnay Vigneron’s Reserve 2006 The 2006 vintage of our Chardonnay Vigneron’s Reserve exceeds the high standards set by prior vintages. This wine shows outstanding oak and fruit integration. It delivers a full, rich, buttery mouthfeel of almonds and vanilla with a lingering aftertaste of smoky peach and citrus fruits.
	Syrah Vigneron's Selection Deep ruby red color with inviting warm aromas of vanilla mixed with spice and red current fruit. This full bodied wine provides a rounded mouth-feel with elegant, rich flavors and soft, integrated tannins. This wine portrays the true character of the carefully selected vineyard site.
	Shiraz The vines from which these grapes were picked are ten years old and achieve top viticultural honors in 2006, having been awarded a Gold Medal in the annual Vinpro Block Evaluation competition. An opulent, full-bodied wine with supple, vibrant fruit and oak tannins with spicy, white pepper and smoky, jammy aromas.
	Merlot An elegant medium-bodied wine with rich, intense layers of chocolate, creamy mulberry fruit and subtle tannins with a hint of mint on the finish.
	Sauvignon Blanc This 2007 Sauvignon Blanc shows pale hues which belie the capture of intense, primary fruit. Reductive winemaking has lead to a richly textured, natural, balanced verve; laced with notes of capsicum and passion-fruit and a classic, zingy finish. Serve as a refreshing aperitif or as a sublime match with salads, seafood and pasta dishes.
	Chardonnay Unwooded The 2007 vintage of our Unwooded Chardonnay shows intense layers of citrus with a subtle note of green apple on the finish. Excellent as an elegant aperitif or with sushi, Mediterranean and Thai dishes.

                                                  

Groenland Wines  - South Africa

Groenland Shiraz 2005 The wine is upfront on the nose with attractive aromas of vanilla, lanolin and milk chocolate. The palate follows through with ripe, purple fruit, cappuccino, cloves and cinnamon on the middle palate, ending off with whiffs of cigar box.  The wine is incredibly soft and smooth with well-integrated wood and a medium finish. It is a well-made wine, which should keep well for at least another two or three years.  Will drink well on its own or with light-bodied red meats like lamb cutlets, smoked cold meats or tomato-based pasta dishes.
